  • 3/4 cup of sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup of orzo
  • 2 3/4 cups of chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup of cream
  • 1 cup of fresh spinach
  • 3/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp of italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut the sausages into pieces and cook them in an oiled pan over medium heat.
  2. While the sausages brown, slice the onions and add them to the pan. Cook until tender.
  3. Add the garlic, paprika, and italian seasoning. Stir and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into pieces and add them to the pan.
  5. Add the orzo and toast it in the pan for 1 to 2 minutes before adding the chicken broth.
  6. Stir, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the liquid thickens (about 10-12 minutes).

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with parmesan shavings and fresh spinach.
