Lasagna Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 onion (or 2 small onions)

  • 1 pack of Dalisa bolognese sausages

  • 1 pack of ground beef

  • 2 tbsp of tomato paste

  • 1 tsp of Italian spices

  • 1 tsp of oregano

  • 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper

  • 1 can of basil tomato sauce

  • 4 cups of chicken broth

  • 500 g of lasagna noodles broken into pieces

  • 1 cup of cream

  • 1/2 cup of mozzarella

  • 1/2 cup of parmesan

  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Dice the onions and cook them in the pan with the garlic.
  2. Add the ground beef and the crumbled sausages to the pan. Cook until the meat is well browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add the tomato paste and mix well to incorporate it into the meat.
  4. Add the spices (Italian spices, oregano, cayenne) to the meat. Mix well to coat the meat with the spices.
  5. Pour the can of tomato sauce and the chicken broth into the pan. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Add the broken lasagna noodles to the mixture. Let it simmer on low heat until the pasta is cooked and has absorbed the flavors.
  7. Adjust the amount of broth to your taste as the pasta cooks.
  8. Add the cream and mix until the sauce is creamy.
  9. Add the parmesan and mozzarella.
  10. Adjust the seasoning if necessary. Sprinkle the top of the dish with grated parmesan and mozzarella.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
