Mild Italian sausages casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Dalisa Mild Italian sausages

  • 1 kg frozen potatoes

  • 1 medium onion

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 2 tbsp canola oil

  • 1 cup corn kernels

  • Tabasco to taste

  • ½ cup fresh basil

  • ½ tsp oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the sausages on a baking sheet and bake for 16 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  3. In a hot, oiled pan, cook the frozen potatoes and corn (if frozen) according to package directions, until nicely golden and crisp.
  4. Dice the onion and red bell pepper.
  5. Add the onion to the skillet and sauté for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the bell pepper, then season with salt and pepper. Add the oregano and a few drops of Tabasco (to taste) Mix well.
  7. Once the sausages are cooked, slice them into rounds and add them to the pan.
  8. Cook everything together for another 5 minutes, so the flavours blend.
  9. Add the fresh basil and serve hot !
