Tonkinese Soup with Dalisa Beef Tournedos

Ingredients

  • 225 g wide rice noodles
  • 225 g Dalisa beef tournedos, thinly sliced
  • 150 g bean sprouts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3.5 L (14 cups) Campbell’s PHO broth
  • 30 g coriander leaves
  • 30 g basil leaves
  • 1 small bird pepper, chopped
  • 1 lime cut into 8 wedges
  • Hoisin sauce to taste
  • Sriracha sauce to taste

Preparation

  1. In a large pot of boiling water, heat the vermicelli for a few seconds using a strainer. Drain and divide into 4 bowls.
  2. Divide slices of cooked and raw beef, bean sprouts, onion and green onions into the bowls. Pour in the broth and season with pepper. Serve immediately, letting everyone garnish their soup with herbs, chili, lime and sauces to taste.
